Commercial Office Building

Cairo, Egypt

Overview

Located in Cairo’s rapidly developing smart district, this 5-story office building covers 47,000 m² and serves as a model for data-driven sustainability and operational efficiency in Egypt.

Challenge

The building was facing challenges related to energy inefficiency, disjointed systems, and difficulty in accessing centralized asset information. With a focus on improving indoor air quality, reducing operational costs, and meeting international sustainability compliance standards, the facility is being transformed into a digitally intelligent, environmentally responsible workspace.

Digital Scope

PARA OS was deployed with its core modules—Energy Intelligence, Asset Management, Sustainability, and Occupant Wellbeing—to digitize and optimize the building’s performance. The platform extracts energy reports, integrates virtual metering, and aligns HVAC and energy data with ISO 50001.

More than just monitoring, it enables predictive maintenance through fault diagnostics and connects BIM-based asset data for better visibility. Real-time indoor environmental metrics are tracked to boost comfort and compliance. The system streamlines reporting and carbon emission monitoring while providing actionable insights that support both sustainability goals and enhanced occupant wellbeing.
